In 2021, we supported lifeguard and first aid training company Blue Guard in celebrating a success story from one of their trained lifeguards. Angel Nakabiito was on duty at the Mirage Hotel Fujairah’s family pool and was alerted to a two year old child who had sunk to the bottom of the pool and could not breathe.

We drove to Fujairah and filmed interviews with Angel as well as Luke Cunningham of Blue Guard and Waleed Sotouhi of Mirage Hotels Group, who expressed his gratitude for Angel’s quick reaction in saving the toddler’s life. We also filmed and photographed the hotel and pool where the incident took place, with Angel watching over the water.

This shoot required one camera operator, one photographer and one assistant.

The video and images were posted to Blue Guard’s website and social media pages, and were featured in an article on the rescue in the Khaleej Times.
